Ros was founded in 1981 and soon established itself as an excellent partner for contract manufacture of metal sheet fabrications. Reliability, punctuality and dedication are our core principles that Gianfranco Ros, our founder, still transmits to our entire team. Exemplary principles, fluid thinking and problem-solving skills have converged into a strategy of progressive expansion and enlargement of services that have allowed our company to establish itself in the Italian market and to be appreciated throughout Europe.
THE ORIGINS
Gianfranco and Vittoria Ros set up a small metalworking and fabrication business in the basement of their house in Fiume Veneto, near Pordenone, in the North East of Italy.
THE TURNING POINT
The workshop, equipped with small manual press brakes and punching machines, starts receiving the first orders from large companies in the area for the production of sheet metal parts.
GROWING
The small workshop is becoming a company. Gianfranco and Vittoria Ros move the business to their first industrial unit, just a few kilometres away, in Praturlone.
THE CHANGE
To keep up with the growth of the company, the Ros family invests in new spaces and machinery: they build a new 2500 sqm industrial unit, nearby, in Azzano Decimo.
NEW MARKETS
The production area is further expanded to accommodate new automated plants, and the company’s vocation becomes international.
EXPANSION
Ros celebrates 35 years since its foundation by inaugurating a new production area, complete with a painting plant.
DESIGN EMERGES
Out of the search for new challenges and with the collaboration of several designers, Ros creates Emèrgi, the brand name of a range of unique accessories that complement our traditional metalworking activity.

Ros has always been attentive to social responsibility issues, whether pertaining to people, the environment, or the territory. All upgrades, investments and actions are carefully evaluated to ensure the maximum safety and quality of our workplace, and encourage the adoption of good working practices.
Our machines are frequently updated with the latest generation of production systems in order to meet our constant production growth and reduce energy consumption and emissions.
By installing a 1 megawatt photovoltaic plant, we have been able to cover all our electrical energy requirements independently.
